These nickel alloy 800 H parts are for a international customer, it was a big special project of 300 parts with high precision and highly qualified welding according ASME IX.
Alloy 800H is a iron-nickel-chromium alloy. It is a widely used material that resists corrosion and heat up to 1500°F (816°C) while retaining its mechanical properties.
These properties makes it a ideal alloy for extreme aplications, but makes welding these caps & grid pipes a difficult task.
